The Handyman Group Milnerton franchise is situated at Burchpark, 17 Montague Drive, Montague Gardens in Milnerton, Cape Town.
The office officially opened on the 20th of June 2007.
The franchise is owned and managed by Paul Pentz.
Paul worked for Telkom SA for 28 years of which he spent the last 13 in their IT Department. He worked in the End User Support Division of their Service Delivery and was then appointed as a Project Manager for new installations. He brings with him many of the management skills learnt here.
He took a package from Telkom in 2002 and spent some time trading in Futures and Options on the New York Stock Exchange. For the past three years he has been Lecturing Computer Courses in his own Computer Training Facility, Acutrain.
He has been involved in a few building projects of his own over the years and is affectionately known by family and friends as ‘Mr Fix-it’.
Paul has two daughters, Cara (25), a hairstylist currently working on the Princess Cruise Liners in the Carribean, and Tamzyn (17), currently an A‑aggregate scholar in Grade 11 at Fairbairn College.
Teresé Stopka is performing the Office/Quotes Manager duties. She is a qualified Primary School teacher, has worked for Old Mutual, in the Property Department and at B. J. Voster Airport in Kimberley. She has run her own business in the clothing industry for the past 16 years, making swim and gym wear, stage wear, as well as ball gowns. For 9 of these years she also ran her own pre-school.
The Milnerton franchise serves the Milnerton to Plattekloof area, a large part of the Tygerberg Area and also a large portion of the Cape Flats.
