The Handyman Group Port Elizabeth franchise is situated at Unit 2, Elliot Centre, William Moffett Express Way, Walmer Downs in Port Elizabeth. The office officially opened on the 15th of April 2008.
This operation is owned and managed by Hermann Terblanche.
Hermann has been involved in Sport and Event Management over the past 16 years where he initiated and co-ordinated numerous programmes, towards the development of sport in the Eastern Cape. During the last decade he managed the Eastern Cape Academy of Sport Programme, and also implemented a highly successful programme in the Port Elizabeth area. Through this programme he coordinated sport science services, nurturing top athletes to reach their full potential at national and international level. He also coordinated the Port Elizabeth region of the Macsteel Maestros Programme (situated at the Sport Science Institute in Cape Town), mentoring various athletes with great results at international level. He has a special touch for event management and coordinated a number of national events during the last few years.
Hermann is married to Tania, they have 1 son, Neil (8), and they live in Richmond Hill where Tania is responsible for managing their backpackers and guest house.
Brenda Carelse, who is performing the office/quotes manager duties, worked as a representative for a greeting card company, managing the Port Elizabeth office. She has sound organizational skills and also has a passion for DIY. She is married to Ray for 18 years they have three daughters.
The Port Elizabeth franchise serves the entire Nelson Mandela Metropolitan area.
